Strummit is a tuner, a chord finder, a teacher and a song notebook in one. Hear every chord you look at, learn the neck one pattern at a time, and turn a row of chords into a song sheet with the tab written for you.
Get it on Google PlayFree to try. No account. No subscription. Everything stays on your phone.
From the first string you tune to the song sheet you print, in any of twelve tunings.
A needle meter like an old amplifier's, with a backlit face. Tune string by string, or name any note you play.
Standard, Drop D, DADGAD, open D, G, E, A and C, and more. Every chord and scale follows the tuning you choose.
Hold a shape, play the strings one at a time, and Strummit tells you the chord and every note in it.
Tap frets on a chord box and the name appears. Step through every other way of playing it, up the neck.
Every chord plays, strummed or fingerpicked, in an acoustic or electric sound, with the strings lighting as they ring.
Chords, triads, CAGED, the five pentatonic patterns, the chair system, thirds and harmony notes, each with something to play.
Tap a key and its six chords light up on the circle. Play them in a row and watch which notes make each one.
Put chords on the board, choose a strum or a picking pattern, and the tab is written for you. Press Play to hear it, with a metronome and count-in.
Export a song as a letter-size PDF or a picture, or send the song itself to a friend who has Strummit.
